Natalie's songs in Australian Songwriting Contest 2008.

Natalie has three new songs 'Nothing's Changed', 'I've Been Broken', and 'Paint Me Blue' shortlisted in the open genre 'International' category of the 2008 Australian Songwriting Contest. These recently recorded tracks have progressed to the second round of judging. The Top 10 finalists will be announced on the 14th August.

The ASA's annual Australian Songwriting Contest is highly respected and extremely prestigious and is the largest competition in the country, providing great prizes and industry exposure to all finalists. It is Australia's longest running national songwriting contest for professional and amateur songwriters. The Gala National Awards Night will be held in Sydney on the 28th August. Clare Burgess, Director of the Australian Songwriters Association (ASA) was quoted as saying "Getting through to this stage is a great achievement, as there are thousands of songs entered every year into this competition".

Recently 'Paint Me Blue' won Third place in the 'Country' category of the International Songwriting Competition and won an Honorable Mention in the 'Performance' category.
